John S. Lai, CPA
Controller

John S. Lai, CPA is the Controller of the Manager and is responsible for overseeing the accounting and tax functions of the funds. He has over 20 years of fund accounting experience dealing with private equity, hedge and exchange funds.

Prior to joining the Manager, Mr. Lai spent 4 years at Silvercrest Asset Management Group as Vice President and Controller. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/ Credit Suisse as Controller and Vice President working with the alternative investment and venture capital groups.

Mr. Lai received his B.A. in accounting at Baruch College and did some graduate studies in taxes at Pace University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of NY and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and NYS Society of CPAs.
